“We enter this sacred space with the power of intention and love, and somewhere deep in the consciousness of another we are allowed in…”

– Heidi Gould, OTR/L, Certified CranioSacral Therapist

By utilizing state of the art methods and techniques, Heidi brings together the best of both worlds with complimentary medicine.

Occupational Therapy in a broad sense is not limited to a form of work or  job, but emphasizes on how one “occupies” and lives their  life.  The focus is on the quality of life which incorporates body,  mind, and spirit, and how daily experiences are considered and integrated to create a “wholesome” lifestyle.

Through innovative information and treatment, Heidi facilitates and helps people realize  their own optimum health.

  1. Wonderful site, thank you!
I also would like you to look in to ‘The Feldenkrais Method’. An other fantastic modality for healing the body from chronic pain.
    Please check out a web-site called http://www.youthfulandenergeticliving.com
She is my therapist and I can only tell you that she helped heal a few chronic ailments of mine.
    Thank you for your interest,

Thank you for your comment. I like to use the Feldenkrais tapes/cd’s for a home program to help the body and brain to integrate new movement patterns rather than the dysfunctional patterns we adapt to in a situation of pain and compensation.

  3. Thank you for letting me know. I will do some updating.

Healing in Action… Heidi’s therapy was a “Breakthough in my Healing”
After my car collision I found myself in a vunerable state, Heidi Gould created a soft, gentle, safe place in her treatment room. Heidi facilitated my healing by inviting me to be participant on the journey to healing my injured body. Heidi’s vast knowledge of muscle tissue, muscle structure, the nervous system, and brain functions in conjunction with her healing touch gave me the experience of her intentional focus that resulted in dynamic change to my injured body. Each therapy appointment was a release of pain and a lightness of being. Heidi’s therapy methods genuinely worked wonders on my body, mind and spirit. SJP

  5. Thank you so much SJP for allowing me to participate with you in your healing process. You are a true inspiration to me and I am sure to others. Your transformation and growth through the accident showed me once again that the power within us can be called upon to heal us. I am honored tio know you and appreciate your kind words. Heidi

  6. In treatment I am always present with the client and looking at what is present. I look for the cause and “listen” with my hands to the body.

  7. Thank you, I take lots of courses and practice, read, and find everyone is a teacher to me.

  8. Nice level of facts here. There is certainly so significantly data close to about this subject matter that sometimes you cannot see the wood for the trees but you could have pitched this at just the proper level so that the lay person can understand – thank you!

I came to Heidi on the recommendation of an acquaintance when I was suffering from the lingering results of a nasty concussion. It had been 4 months since my accident and I was still suffering from vertigo and violent headaches. While the physical therapy I had completed, had helped some, I was still not returned to a pre-concussion condition.
I also had back issues that had hampered my lifestyle for years. I would often spend days at a time suffering pain and numbness if I dared to lift or carry anything over 15 to 20 pounds.
I noticed an immediate change after my first visit to Heidi. The most immediate change I noticed was the absence of vertigo and the ability to sleep soundly and awaken without pain.
I continued to see Heidi for about two and a half months on a weekly basis.
I had noticed that I was feeling better and better, but it was my daughter that noticed how much stronger I had become, when I was able to assist her in packing and moving several heavy items, without having to ‘pay’ for it in spasms and pain.
Thank you, Heidi! Your treatment is like a magical balm that soothes away every pain. I came to you for treatment of my headaches — you gave me my whole body back!

  10. You are most welcome. Thank you for sharing your experience.

  11. I would like to thank you for the efforts you have made in writing this post. I am hoping the same best work from you in the future as well. In fact your creative writing abilities has inspired me to start my own BlogEngine blog now.

  12. No, that is not the way I treat. I am present and I “listen” to the body with my hands to evaluate in the moment how I can assist another and facilitate them in their healing.
